Through Christmas we finished opening the West End of the Banadad Trails System
We opened the trail and have it all tracked except the last mile.
We had some equipment problems on the last mile. Before we had the trial opened snow shoe visitors walked over some downed trees, packing down the trail. We did not see this and the groomer flipped over, breaking the pressure pole. We will fix that soon.
This problem is common. When grooming, nasty stuff gets covered by snow and packed by what ever gets out there before us. We have to deal with these sort of problems when opening the first time. Downfall that obstructs the trail is easy to see, but the buried stuff is a pain.
